A “right to repair’’ ballot initiative related to car repairs by independent shops received the required number of signatures to move to the next step, according to a group supporting the effort. Meanwhile, another group that was looking to overturn the mandate requiring Massachusetts residents to purchase health insurance did not garner enough signatures by yesterday’s deadline to collect 68,911 signatures to get measures onto the state ballot.
