Y looks for path through lean times
Kevin Washington was named president and chief executive of the YMCA of Greater Boston in September 2010. Amid a tighter fundraising environment, he’s looking to expand the Y’s outreach while overseeing the sale of property at headquarters’ which has been controversial among some members. He recently spoke with Globe reporter Beth Healy about the Y’s history, programs, and plans for the future.
