DETROIT—General Motors Co. said Thursday its November U.S. sales rose 6.9 percent on strong demand for both cars and trucks.
BY THE NUMBERS: Detroit-based GM sold 180,402 vehicles in November, up from 168,739 in the same month last year.
TOP SELLER: Sales of the Silverado pickup truck jumped 33.7 percent to 34,251 from 25,619.
HOT MODELS: Sales of the Cruze compact car jumped 64.1 percent to 13,238, while sales of the Tahoe SUV jumped 32.8 percent to 8,401.
