Earlier this year, Martin Romitti was named director of Economic and Public Policy Research at the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, the economic development arm of the University of Massachusetts’ president’s office. With job creation one of the top issues of the day, Romitti spoke with reporter Megan Woolhouse about what the state can do to put more people back to work and whether casinos are the answer.
