Honda spent $586,973 on lobbying in 3Q
WASHINGTON—Honda North America spent $586,973 in the third quarter to lobby Congress on tax incentives for natural gas vehicles, their infrastructure and manufacturing, and other issues.
That's up from the $545,682 the company spent in the same quarter last year, but down from the $607,429 it spent in the second quarter of this year.
Honda also lobbied the federal government on legislation involving, fuel economy and greenhouse gas standards, motor vehicle and highway safety, ethanol tax subsidies, taxes and other issues, according to the report filed Oct. 18.
In the third quarter, Honda lobbied the U.S. House and Senate, the White House, Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation, according to the report filed with the House clerk's office.
