FOREST, Miss.—The Raytheon Co. plant in Forest, Miss., will get nearly half the work under a $9.4 million order to replace electronics in military jets.
The Pentagon says the order from the Naval Air Systems Command in Maryland is for work on "countermeasure receivers" aboard F/A-18 jets.
A news release Tuesday said about 48 percent of the work will be done in Forest, 38 percent in San Diego and 14 percent in Goleta, Calif., where Raytheon is headquartered.
Officials expect the work to be completed in September 2014.![]()
