Trendy clothier gets Second Life

American Apparel is a retailer with 80 locations nationwide. One is on Newbury Street and another is coming soon to Brattle Street in Cambridge. And they're about to open another one...on Second Life. That would be the virtual world you've read about here before. Over 200,000 people will soon be able to clothe their virtual selves in hip and sexy American Apparel virtual duds. First step? Hire popular Second Life architect Aimee Weber to design the store.
