Calling in rich

Every week Fred Wilson posts a VC Cliché of the week and this week he picked one that's a killer. It's a concept called "Calling in rich." That's when "people work really hard, build something valuable, realize the value in some sort of transaction, get paid a lot of money, and then one day they wake up and don't feel like working anymore. They call in rich." The funny part is how aptly the phrase sums up the phenomenon. The tragic part? If it really happens at your startup. Then it's not funny. At all. It's just devastating and treasonous.
