Welcome to hell, Dell
Source: BuzzMachine

A Dell literally burst into flames recently in Japan.
Dell just launched a blog called One2One: Direct Conversations with Dell and it took a blog second for Jeff Jarvis to snark down their throats. Jarvis has been on a Dell rant for over a year due to some truly horrific tech support experiences he calls his Dell Hell. Just page through Jarvis' archive of posts on the topic. They include links to multiple stories in the press, like this, or this. about Dell's widespread support problems. OK, I know Dell's only posted about seven blog entries so far and a blog is a step in the right direction...but they better start addressing the elephant in the room instead of waxing nostalgic about how it's "hard for me to believe that it has been 10 years for www.dell.com." Jarvis quips "I think I spent about 10 years on [h]old with you guys."
Update: 11:40EST
Dell speaks. In blog-time. With links. Well done. This might be a good time to send Jeff Jarvis a new laptop and give Debbie Weil a call. ;-)
