No fast food for you

mdonalds.jpgTowns and cities - such as New York City and Calistoga, CA - are starting to use zoning laws to ban fast food restaurants. Why? They make you fat, cause traffic problems and cause truancy. Not to mention they're ugly, they hurt local restaurants and poor people should have "options." Hmmm...so limit to create options? And what about pizza parlors and hot dog carts? But if we banned smoking, why not fast food which has contributed to obesity and out of control health care costs?
