kfc.jpgFast food is reacting to the wrath of the anti-transfat movement. Trying to lose the knickname Kentucky Fried Coronary, KFC is changing its cooking oil to cut trans-fat levels in half. But it still may not be enough to stop a lawsuit against the chain or citywide bans being proposed around the country. In June, Wendy's switched to trans-fat-free fries and chicken and has posted healthy sales since then. McDonald's claims to be testing trans-fat-free oils but is mum on future plans. As for me, you could fry popcorn "chicken" in liquid tofu and I still wouldn't eat it.
