mindthegap.jpgMusic used to be the great divide between generations. But today's generation gap? The digital divide. A new study from Universal McCann shows that "digital media fluency has become the zeitgeist of modern day culture with a younger tech savvy segment adopting new media platforms and leading the way, not to mention teaching their elders." The Internet is the new way to socialize. 40 percent of 16-34-year olds belong to a social network. That's twice the number of 35-49 year olds. And blogging is the voice of the new generation. 71 percent of 16-34 year olds have participated in a blogging activity.
