googlemymaps2.jpgGoogle's newest service, My Maps, allows anyone to create their own personalized, annotated, customized Google maps. That means that anyone can go in and plot all the great Irish pubs in Boston, for example, and save it as "Boston Irish Pub Map." Google claims it's so simple "even a caveman can do it." Google's focus on location-based services highlights the fact that as "digital content explodes exponentially, context will become more important." Look for the new maps you create to show up in local search results soon.
