Filthy, lying, thieving Inkjets

My printer constantly tells me I'm out of ink, even when I can see ink sloshing around in the container...often getting ink on my hands and clothes as I investigate. "A new study says that on average, more than half of the ink from inkjet cartridges is wasted when users toss them in the garbage." But it's not our fault. We don't WANT to throw out the ink. Our printers tell us to do it. In fact, my Brother printer will stop working when it thinks it's out of ink, even though it isn't. The study tested Lexmark, Canon, HP, Kodak and Brother. All had trouble, though Epson did best. Kodak's EasyShare 5300 wasted a staggering 64 percent of its ink.
