Seven most annoying things about the future

Technology was supposed to make our lives easier. But instead it made us faster, more enmeshed and, well, annoying. Looking ahead, Nick Douglas predicts even more annoying things to come. They include animated billboards, widespread in-car GPS voice-overs, ubiquitous traffic cameras, and camera-wearing geeks who video blog their entire life. But the one that will undoubtedly annoy us the most? Cell phones on planes. Imagine being tortured by one half of a conversation all the way from Boston to San Francisco. Then imagine wanting to take that cell phone "out of your neighbor's hand and flush it down the tiny airplane toilet."
