Police question protestors

Police stopped about a half dozen protestors inside the BIO International Convention this afternoon, but the activists left the building without incident, a law enforcement official with knowledge of the situation said.

The protestors, one of whom was carrying a banner, were found near a secured doorway inside the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Police stopped the protestors to determine how the unregistered visitors gained entry to the heavily fortified building, the official said.

Police stopped the protestors and questioned them, the official said, but released them without charges.
