Normandy Real Estate Partners, the new developer of the historic Ames Building, has hired New York-based Rockwell Group to design the interiors for the building's new hotel.

The sought-after firm will design the rooms, lobby, common areas, and a fine restaurant at One Court Street, in the ornate 14-floor building that was Boston's first "tower."
