A moment in time captured in Quincy Market in 1968. The project to repurpose Quincy Market as a "festival marketplace" (and save it from the wrecking ball) was initiated in 1971 by former Boston mayor Kevin White, the late architect Ben Thompson, and the late developer James Rouse.
