Boston needs a startup culture
Whose idea? Courtney Scrib
Who is she? A student at Boston College.
People go to Silicon Valley and New York City because these are places "where the ecosystem is robust and paths clearly defined and well traveled," Scrib said. This is what Boston needs: an environment for entrepreneurs that is more nationally recognized. Silicon Valley, for instance, has a close-knit atmosphere filled with groups and bars where people in the same circle can relax.
"Boston should create a new kind of co-opetitive bubble where work doesnt always feel like work," she said.
