City needs a new reputation
Whose idea? Andrew Boni
Who is he? A senior in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College studying Information Systems and Computer Science.
Boni believes there is nothing wrong with Boston's "ecosystem" for start-ups, but the reason nobody stays is because the city does not represent that dream. "Silicon Valley will always represent the hub of all things tech for many, many years to come, just like New York is the mecca of all things finance and Detroit is the Motor City," he said. Boston isn't held up to the same esteem. However, Boni believes the city has improved greatly in the past 10 years and will continue to improve in the next 10.
