Burial at sea - a family says goodbye
A small gathering of mourners recently joined together to pay their respects to a deceased loved one by scattering her ashes in Boston Harbor. This type of service has been a growing trend recently.
The service for Nancy Mastrangelo left from Rowes Wharf in Boston on board the "Beach Cat," a water taxi captained by Captain Brad White. The boat drove them out into the harbor where they scattered Nancy's ashes.
Left to right: Christine Whelan, her son Michael Mastrangelo, and sister of the deceased Elinore Loscocco.
