Try the census-taker test

The US Census Bureau is having trouble finding census takers in Boston - a job that pays almost $23 an hour for about two and a half months. One possible deterrent: Applicants must take a timed test on math and reading skills. Some people say they find the 30-minute exam confusing. Try the test here, and see if you have what it takes to work for the Census Bureau. A word of warning: The real thing is actually a little tougher than our version. We had to omit two questions that weren't Web-friendly, and shorten a few others.
