Tax breaks: $75,353 in state taxes
The furniture retailer received a state tax break to open a new store in Stoughton in 2003, even though the store was already open for months when the state approved the deal. Bob's said the subsidy likely played little or no role in its decision to open the store. As of last fall, it had claimed $75,353 in state tax credits.
