A developer's trail of foreclosures
Developer Michael David Scott spent years buying and renovating triple-deckers in some of Boston's toughest neighborhoods, then reselling them as condos.
When the real estate market began to cool, Scott started selling his condos to out-of-state buyers from Virginia, New Jersey and Maryland as investment properties. Many wound up losing just about everything.
Scott was indicted on 62 counts of wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering. Here is a look at some of the homes and buyers involved in the alleged scheme.
