Victoria's Secret
It's no secret: this brand is out of ideas. Since 2004, when the company hired unsexy folk legend Bob Dylan to appear in ads, Victoria's Secret has been groping in the dark, acting more like an awkward teenager than a trendsetter.
Flashy underwear have recently taken a backseat to cellulite creams, tanning lotions, and body shimmer. A number of high-profile lawsuits have the company defending itself against accusations of patent and trademark infringement on everything from its high-tech bras to its use of the word "sexy."
CEO Sharen Turney admitted the company had lost its way. "We've so much gotten off our heritage," said Turney. "We have forgotten the ultra feminine." It seems that Victoria can't remember her own secret.
