Sharp LCD TVs recalled due to faulty stand
Recalled: Aug. 31, 2010
Sharp Electronics Corp. is recalling about 9,000 Sharp 32-inch LCD-TVs because the TV stand's neck support can break, causing the TV to tip over, which can then injure consumers upon falling.
The TVs were sold at major retailers in the US between March 2010 through August 2010 for about $550.
