Slow cookers recalled due to melting control panel
Recalled: Aug. 31, 2010
Sensio Inc. is recalling about 25,000 Bella Kitchen 5-quart programmable slow cookers because the control panel control panel can overheat and melt, and possibly catch fie. The company has received 60 reports of the control panels smoking, melting, and sparking, as well as three instances where the panels caught fire.
The slow cookers were sold at Kohl's department stores from July 2009 through December 2009 for between $20 and $40.
