Boston.com readers redesign the city
Site: North End electrical substation
Who: Nate Swain
Swain photographed objects throughout the city - windows at the Archstone Kendall Square, curtains at Bed Bath & Beyond, plants at Quincy Market - and layered the images in Photoshop. Boston Building Wraps printed and installed these images during the last week of August.
Swain said he received a lot of support from the North End community. "It's very enlightening to have everyone support you," he said. Two residents even paid $350 to have their cats photographed for the project.
