Revere Beach, 1925
The new development will bring back a half mile of Revere's former glory, according to Revere Mayor Thomas G. Ambrosino.

The renowned planner Charles Eliot laid out the Revere Beach Reservation in the 1890s. The beach, here in a 1925 photo, was the first in the nation officially reserved for public use.
