Sam Adams brewery through the years
When Jim Koch started selling Samuel Adams Boston Lager on Patriots Day in 1985, he didn't have enough money to distribute the beer in kegs or six packs, so he sold it in cases of loose bottles, the first batches of which were brewed in his kitchen.
