Boston's "Grand Dame" of jewelers, Shreve, Crump & Low, first opened in 1796 across from Paul Revere's very own silversmith shop. After the Great Fire in 1872, Shreve opened a new location at 225 Washington St. In 1929, the company moved to its best known location on the corner of Boyston and Arlington St.

Last November, Shreve's opened a new flagship store on Boylston Street to revive its waning sales. With a huge party of 200 guests, music performances, and several new jewelry lines, Shreve's positioned itself for new success.
