Tax breaks: Potentially more than $612,000 in state taxes, plus local tax breaks
The Massachusetts company, which markets robots for everything from the home to the battlefield, received a tax incentive for its move to Bedford in 2007. The state gave the company a 5 percent state tax credit potentially worth nearly $612,000 based on the firm's plans to invest $12.2 million. It also received a 12-year discount on its property taxes, worth 12 percent the first year and gradually declining by 1 percentage point a year. The firm also promised to create 280 full-time jobs and retain 352 jobs.
