"Going green" has a special meaning at Genzyme Corp. Among the many eco-friendly features of its Kendall Square headquarters are bathrooms designed to help Genzyme use 30 percent less water than a normal office building. For men, there are "waterless" urinals, and for both genders, so-called dual flush toilets that -- how can we most delicately put this? -- allow people to choose a full flush or a half-flush depending on what's necessary. But while eco-friendly bathrooms may evoke the aura of a state park outhouse, several Globe 100 survey respondents singled out Genzyme for best corporate washroom for aesthetics, not just the environmental angle. Says Douglas Lee , chief financial officer of Genzyme consultant BostonTech Partners Inc. and a regular visitor after long meetings: "I was impressed with the construction, design, and really clean plumbing!"
