Made in Mass.: Mason & Hamlin pianos
Before the recession, the company produced 25 total pianos a month. Now, about 12 to 14 are created monthly, double the 2009 rate of production. "The economy is coming back slowly, but it is," said Bruce Clark, engineer at the company.
The pianos ranged in price from $48,000 to $110,000.
The details of the piano showed that it is made in America. "Mason & Hamlin is a nice place to work because at the end of the day, you make something beautiful," Clark said.
