Children's Hospital Boston opened as a 20-bed facility in Boston's South End in 1869. Since, the hospital has become the world's largest pediatric research facility.

Children's Hospital offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age and is the primary pediatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.
