Hospital names patient care VP
Kevin Whitney recently was named vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Emerson Hospital in Concord. A Chelmsford resident, Whitney, who joined the hospital in 1990, had been director of nursing services. He has a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Framingham State College.
Two insurance firms link up
The Magovern Insurance Agency of Bedford is now affiliated with Baldwin Insurance Agency of Wayland. This is an opportunity for both agencies to expand their customer services, Bob Magovern said in a written statement. "I have a long history with commercial insurance issues, so I am frequently a resource to other insurance agents with complex questions," he added. He and his wife, Barbara, formed the Bedford firm 19 years ago.
Flutemaker lists executive lineup
Birgitte M. Flanders is the new president of Brannen Brothers Flutemakers Inc. of Woburn, which also named Dennis McGuire treasurer and Payson Greene secretary. Flanders, who lives in Worcester and previously lived in Lexington, had been manager of accounting and administration for the 29-year-old firm.
