NEW YORK—Shares of large pharmaceutical companies closed higher Thursday as the broader market rallied on a rising dollar and falling oil prices.
Here's how some key drug makers closed Thursday:
Wyeth up $1.06 to $45.53.
Merck & Co. shares up 91 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $38.95.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., up 97 cents, or 4.4 percent, to $22.94.
Schering-Plough up 44 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $18.85.![]()
