NEW YORK—A senior vice president at biotechnology company Cepheid exercised options for 60,000 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Friday.
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Laurie King reported she exercised options for the shares Wednesday and Thursday for $5.18 to $7.35 apiece and then sold the same number of them the same day for $24.07 to $24.17 apiece.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
Cepheid is based in Sunnyvale, Calif.![]()
