NEW YORK—Shares of health care providers and service companies wavered Wednesday, with hospital operator Tenet Healthcare Corp. rising ahead of the company's investor day on June 3.
Key results in the sector included the following:
Tenet Healthcare Corp. rose 23 cents, or 4.1 percent, to $5.91.
UnitedHealth Group Inc. fell 79 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $34.23.
Aetna Inc. fell 34 cents to $45.39.
Medco Health Solutions Inc. rose 70 cents to $47.97.
