NEW YORK—Shares of some top managed care companies were up at the close of trading:
Aetna rose $.99 or 2.3 percent, to $43.64.
CIGNA rose $.78 or 1.9 percent, to $42.26.
Coventry Healthcare rose $.38 or 1.0 percent, to $36.91.
Humana rose $.39 or .8 percent, to $47.74.
UnitedHealth rose $.31 or 1.0 percent, to $30.61.
WellPoint rose $.84 or 1.6 percent, to $54.49.
