NEW YORK—Shares of some top medical companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Abbott Labs rose $.44 or .8 percent, to $58.48.
Allergan rose $.84 or 1.5 percent, to $57.17.
Bard rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $95.71.
Boston Scientific fell $.24 or 1.8 percent, to $12.76.
Hospira rose $.38 or 1.0 percent, to $39.06.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.60 or .8 percent, to $71.42.
Medtronic fell $.05 or .1 percent, to $56.50.
St Jude Medical rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $46.70.
Zimmer rose $.47 or .6 percent, to $74.08.
