NEW YORK—Shares of some top biotechnology companies are down at noon:
Amgen fell $1.34 or 2.1 percent, to $61.76.
Biogen Idec fell $1.10 or 2.2 percent, to $49.07.
Celgene fell $1.25 or 1.8 percent, to $68.36.
Genentech fell $.54 or .6 percent, to $97.14.
Gilead Sciences fell $.70 or 1.4 percent, to $50.68.
