NEW YORK—Shares of some top biotechnology companies are down at 10 a.m.:
Amgen fell $.28 or .5 percent, to $60.60.
Biogen Idec fell $.49 or 1.0 percent, to $47.67.
Celgene fell $.09 or .1 percent, to $67.40.
Genentech fell $.21 or .2 percent, to $96.29.
Gilead Sciences fell $.88 or 1.8 percent, to $49.10.
