NEW YORK—Shares of some top medical companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Abbott Labs rose $.07 or .1 percent, to $59.40.
Allergan fell $2.09 or 3.6 percent, to $55.29.
Bard rose $1.60 or 1.6 percent, to $98.60.
Boston Scientific fell $.24 or 1.8 percent, to $12.74.
Hospira fell $.01 or percent, to $39.26.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $69.40.
Medtronic fell $.75 or 1.4 percent, to $51.13.
St Jude Medical fell $.88 or 2.0 percent, to $43.70.
Zimmer fell $1.04 or 1.6 percent, to $65.40.
