Genzyme to discard drug’s raw materials
Firm moves to avoid recontaminating its Allston facility
Cambridge biotechnology company Genzyme Corp. said yesterday it will scrap about 80 percent of the material it had on hand to produce the enzyme disorder drug Cerezyme when a virus was discovered at its Boston manufacturing plant in June. (Full article: 1019 words)
