Each week, I’m looking for the coolest start-up job opportunities available, in the life sciences, software, renewable energy and beyond. If you are a start-up and are hiring, email the details at hive@boston.com, and I’ll do my best to round up the best on Friday, and share them with our readers throughout the week.

Rue La La: Software engineers

Evan Walsh writes that Rue La La is looking for engineers with 5+ years of experience developing dynamic web applications interested in joining a small team that tackles big problems, such as how to serve up over 6 million page views an hour during the e-tailer’s busiest time, the holiday season. He writes that the company is still privately held, allows for immediate visibility and impact, and is engaged within the local tech community. Interested applicants should e-mail Walsh.

Hopper: Software Engineers

Cambridge-based Hopper is looking for engineers interested in tackling travel planning through big data and sophisticated algorithms. The company is currently seeking backend engineers with experience in Hadoop, front-end engineers versed in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and a research engineer focused on search. More information is available on Hopper’s job page.
