Technology entrepreneur Hank Williams is bringing music mogul Quincy Jones, talk show host Tavis Smiley and astronaut Mae Jemison to Boston next month, in a bid to encourage high-tech entrepreneurship among women, African Americans and Latinos. The Platform Summit, set for July 12-14 at the Media Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is aimed at businesses and investors with an interest in backing female- and minority-run tech startups.
