Each week, we ask a different area innovator to share the meet-ups, talks, and other must-see events happening in their world. This week, Abby Fichtner shares where she’s heading on the Social Circuit.

Who she is: Abby Fichtner* describes herself as a “Hacker in Residence” at Harvard Innovation Lab, as well as at Dogpatch Labs, a startup incubator in Cambridge. She is also an organizer of Boston Lean Startup Circle, a monthly meetup focused the way new products are built and launched.

Where she’s going:

Dogpatch Lab Tech Meetup : June 19, 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Cambridge Innovation Center, Havana Conference Room. Open to the public.

“There are some amazing startups here at Dogpatch working on some really cool tech, so we thought, let’s focus on some of the best to talk about what they’re doing.”

Bolt Open House : June 20, 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Bolt, 110 Chauncy Street in Boston. Invite only.

“I’m super excited to see Bolt’s new space and learn more about what they’re doing. Governor Deval Patrick is going to be there, too, so that’s a big plus!”

Web Innovators Group 38 : June 24, 6:30 PM at Royal Sonesta Cambridge. Open to the public.

“This is one of the largest --if not the largest—ongoing meetup for startups in Boston. There will be 500 or 600 people there, so it’s a great place to connect with people you might only see every few months, and it’s sort of a showcasing of all cool things people are doing.”

*Fichtner is also launching a monthly meetup of her own called Hack Boston, featuring tech talks for startups looking to gain an edge. She expects the group’s first event to be in September. Keep an eye out!
