Locu, an MIT startup that helps small business get found online by potential customers, has been acquired by GoDaddy for a reported $70 million.

The 2-year-old company, now based in San Francisco, enables businesses to automatically update their listings on multiple websites like Yelp, TripAdvisor and YellowPages simply by making changes to their Locu accounts. For instance, the service could help a restaurant quickly post nightly specials and other menu changes on many of the sites that diners commonly use to find and pick a place to eat.

Locu charges $25 per month and has about 30,000 subscribing businesses. It already was integrated into GoDaddy’s Website Builder service for businesses.
