Kronos buys TimeLink International

Kronos Inc., a Chelmsford-based company that sells workforce management systems and software, said it has acquired Time Link International Corp. of Purchase, N.Y., as Kronos looks to “broaden its footprint” in workforce management.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

In a statement, Kronos chief executive Aron Ain said: “Kronos’ acquisition of TimeLink extends our leadership in workforce management, particularly in the enterprise segment of the market. With 64 previous acquisitions, we have a proven track record of successfully and smoothly bringing organizations into the Kronos customer community. We are committed to helping TimeLink customers achieve even greater value in the areas of controlling labor costs, minimizing compliance risk, and improving workforce productivity.”

Last year, Kronos opened a $7 million, 110,000-square-foot innovation center at its headquarters in Chelmsford.
